About Me

What is most gratifying to me, in making these little art dolls,
is the community of collectors, authors, artists and friends I have
met through them.
I do believe you are the most creative people on earth!

I think my love for fairies actually started when I was 3.
My Nana gave me some paper-dolls.....fairies with a wardrobe
of flower dresses. I played with them until the paper
they were made of disintegrated.
But the fairies have always stayed with me.

Quite a few years ago a boyfriend/artist introduced me to Sculpey polymer clay.
This tiny unicorn is what I made. I was so excited!
Though little pieces have broken away over the years and many moves,
I'm so glad this little unicorn has lasted.
Back then, I knew *NOT* the POSSIBILITIES...

Later, I started making little Teddy Bears as Xmas ornaments and gifts.
I started getting orders and even sold some thru a Teddy Bear Specialty Store.
One clever friend named my little business, OSO TINY.
That was oso long ago. (BTW, "oso" means "bear" in spanish)

YIKES! Several years ago, and before I knew anything about art dolls and armature,
I tried my hand at making Christmas elves. OMG...they looked more like drunken trolls!!!!!
Their bodies are bean bags and legs are wooden dowels.
My friends called them "Shelf Elfs"
